Jon Sabay is a Tokyo-based Filipino-American comedian and actor. A regular headliner and host at Tokyo Comedy Bar, Jon runs diverse shows like Roles for Initiative, Tokyo’s only live TTRPG actual-play show; O-NO, an improvised stand-up showcase; and Bob and Jon Make a Movie, a two-person long-form improv act. His brainchild, Roles for Initiative, has recently expanded with a monthly show in Los Angeles. Jon’s work often explores immigration, xenophobia, mental health, and being a huge nerd. Jon is a former Roast Battle Japan Champion & recetly degeated World Champ Frank Castillo at the Tokyo International Comedy Festival.
Yuki Nivez is Tokyo’s queen of deadpan and creator of Not Just a Diversity Hire, a hit comedy show that flips tokenism on its head. Quiet in person, savage on stage, she’s gone viral online and left scorch marks in the World Roast Battle League. She is the current Japanese Champion.
She’s like if your straight‑talking friend from your awkward family dinner decided to stop being polite on‑stage—and somehow it’s hilarious.
A true cross-cultural comic, Yuki juggles English and Japanese sets with ease—sometimes skewering English curiosities one minute, then poking gentle fun at Japanese polite ways the next. Her love for language quirks shines through and online, Yuki is pure viral gold: her straight‑faced delivery against absurd situations is the kind of content you didn’t know you needed—until you couldn’t stop sharing it. A Tokyo staple with international reach, Yuki’s “Resting Bitch Face” special has played sold‑out rooms across the country and is headed to Australia for a 2 month long National tour.
Evans Musoka is one of Japan’s most popular Western-style stand-up comedians, bringing his unique perspective and razor-sharp humor to audiences all over Japan and across Asia. Hailing from Kenya and based in Tokyo, Evans is a regular at Tokyo Comedy Bar, where he hosts, performs, and runs his signature monthly show, Raw Comedy.
A champion on the mic, Evans took home the top prize at the Magners International Comedy Festival and serves as the lead judge for Tokyo International Comedy Festival where he debuted his latest hour, Hakuna Matata Kumamoto—cementing his reputation as a must-watch act in Japan’s comedy scene.
When he’s not making crowds cry with laughter, Evans is passionately watching football and, more importantly, keeping an open mind about anyone willing to offer him a visa through marriage.
