Visit the world famous Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park, home to 200 wild monkeys who spend their days soaking in nature’s hot springs. These peculiar monkeys are the only in the world known to enjoy hot springs bathes and have become an international sensation. Enjoy an afternoon in the pristine Japanese nature observing the most adorable monkeys bathe, play, and eat in and around the hot springs.
Later visit Zenkoji Temple, the 7th century Buddhist temple which is said to house the first Buddha statue brought to Japan. Teleport back in time as you stroll through the temple grounds, and immerse yourself in the intricate details of Zenkoji’s wooden design.
This tour includes a Japanese set lunch. Guests can choose between chicken, fish, and vegetarian options.
