About the Event:

Join Olympic Nordic combined athlete Akito Watabe for his final ski jump in a special event celebrating his incredible career and commitment to sustainability. “WATABE AKITO’s LAST JUMP powered by you” will bring the local community together in Hakuba for an unforgettable afternoon featuring sports experiences, environmental workshops, live talks, and interactive activities for all ages.

One of the highlights of the event is the “GENERATION チャ“リ”ンジ,” where participants will generate electricity by riding stationary bicycles to help power the lift used for Watabe’s final jump. The event aims to inspire visitors to think about climate change, the future of snow sports, and the importance of protecting the natural environment for future generations.

Guests can also enjoy sports experience booths, VR ski jumping activities, environmental learning exhibits, and a special talk show reflecting on Watabe’s career and environmental initiatives. Admission is free, making this a unique opportunity to celebrate one of Japan’s most accomplished winter athletes in the heart of Hakuba.

イベントについて:

ノルディック複合日本代表として活躍してきた 渡部暁斗 選手の現役最後のジャンプを記念した特別イベント「WATABE AKITO’s LAST JUMP powered by you」が白馬で開催されます。スポーツ体験や環境学習、トークショーなどを通して、地域の皆さまとともに渡部選手のこれまでの歩みを振り返りながら、未来へ向けたメッセージを発信するイベントです。

イベントの目玉となる「GENERATION チャ“リ”ンジ」では、参加者が自転車を漕いで発電し、その電力でラストジャンプへ向かうリフトを動かします。気候変動による雪不足という課題をきっかけに、環境問題や自然保護について考える機会となっています。

会場では、VRスキージャンプ体験や競技用品展示、スポーツ体験ブース、環境学習ブースなども予定されています。参加無料で、ご家族や友人同士でも楽しめる、白馬ならではの特別なイベントです。
