About the Event: The AREA UNITE Film Festival returns this October 17–18 at Hakuba Goryu, celebrating the people, creativity, and stories that make Hakuba unique. Founded by Takuma Oike, AREA UNITE brings together skiers, snowboarders, artists, musicians, and the wider community through film, snow sports, music, art, food, and markets.

After three years at Matoka Otari & Cortina Auto Campground, the festival is moving to the lower section of the Toomi ski slope at Hakuba Goryu, providing more space for visitors and new opportunities for the event to grow.

Highlights include: large outdoor film screenings on a 300-inch screen, local artists and market stalls, food, music, and plenty of space to enjoy the festival throughout the day.

イベント概要：
AREA UNITEフィルムフェスティバルが、10月17日・18日に白馬五竜で開催されます。白馬ならではの人々、クリエイティビティ、そしてストーリーを祝う2日間のイベントです。大池拓馬氏によって始められたAREA UNITEは、フィルム、スノースポーツ、音楽、アート、フード、マーケットなどを通して、スキーヤーやスノーボーダー、アーティスト、ミュージシャン、そして地域のコミュニティをつなぎます。

これまで3年間、小谷コルチナオートキャンプ場で開催されてきたこのフェスティバルは、今年から白馬五竜とおみゲレンデ下部へ会場を移します。より多くの来場者を迎えられる広々とした会場で、イベントのさらなる成長と新たな可能性が期待されます。

主な見どころ：
300インチの巨大な屋外スクリーンでのフィルム上映、地元アーティストやマーケットブース、フード、音楽など、一日を通して楽しめるさまざまなコンテンツが用意されています。
