Construction Begins on “Cassia Hakuba”: Banyan Group’s Upscale Brand Set for 2028 Opening in Echoland

Wealth Management Group (Headquarters: Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazutoshi Chino) is co-investing in and developing the “Hakuba Echoland District Hotel Development Project” with the Banyan Group, one of the world’s leading independent hospitality groups. Construction began on September 16, 2025, and a ground-breaking ceremony was held on October 1. We are pleased to announce that the brand has been decided as “Cassia.” Opening is scheduled for 2028.

Facility Features

Located in the Echoland district, one of the primary villa areas of Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. “Cassia Hakuba (tentative name)” is situated in a highly convenient location with nearby bus stops for circulating to various ski resorts. All guest rooms are equipped with kitchens and balconies, combining the advantages of both a hotel and a residence. It is ideal for stays ranging from one night to long-term stays for families and groups of friends.
