Celebrate a milestone as the Hakuba International Music Festival marks 30 years of bringing beautiful melodies to the scenic Japanese Alps. This highly anticipated classical event is driven by a passionate network of volunteers and musicians performing purely for the love of nature and art. Directed by Artistic Director Hiroko Kawamichi Luyet , the 2026 program boasts a spectacular lineup of globally acclaimed artists, including Mieko Miyazaki (koto) , Julia Deit-Ferrand (mezzo-soprano) , and members of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. Over three summer evenings, audiences will be treated to an extraordinary fusion of Japanese traditional instruments and Western classical masterpieces. The diverse repertoire ranges from Bach's Goldberg Variations arranged for koto to vibrant string ensembles, operatic numbers from Carmen , and romantic piano quintets. Adding to the intimate festival culture, a social gathering will be held after the concerts, giving attendees the unique opportunity to chat directly with the performers.

第24回 白馬国際音楽祭 2026

雄大な北アルプスの自然に囲まれながら心安らぐ音楽を届けてきた「白馬国際音楽祭」が、今年で記念すべき30年目を迎えます ！本音楽祭は、特定の営利を目的とせず、趣旨に賛同したボランティアの手によって大切に運営されてきた特別なクラシック音楽祭です 。音楽総監督を務める声楽家の川道博子リュイエ氏のもと 、2026年もヨーロッパや第一線で活躍する豪華な顔ぶれが白馬に集結します 。箏奏者のみやざきみえこ氏 、メゾソプラノのジュリア・デイ＝フェラン氏をはじめ 、スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団のメンバーらによる極上の演奏が夏の夜を彩ります 。

3日間にわたるプログラムでは、箏のために編曲されたバッハの『ゴルトベルク変奏曲』 や宮城道雄の『春の海』 といった和洋の美しく鮮やかな融合から、ボロディンの弦楽四重奏曲 、オペラ『カルメン』の名曲選 、そしてブラームスの重厚なピアノ五重奏曲まで 、多彩な音色を心ゆくまで堪能できます。さらに、各日の演奏会終了後には入場者と演奏家が直接言葉を交わして和やかに語り合える歓談の場も用意されており 、白馬ならではのアットホームで豊かなひとときを体験していただけます 。
