Hakuba Goryu, adjacent to Hakuba 47 Resort, is popular with hikers and nature lovers alike. The main attraction is the Alpine Botanical Garden which is one of the most famous alpine botanical gardens in Japan. It is located at 1515m above sea level on the Able Hakuba Goryu Alpine Flat. The village surrounding the resort has a handful of excellent restaurants.
