Mt.Goryu is one of the 100 most famous mountains in Japan, and is located in the Hida mountain range (Northern Alps) in the Tateyama mountain range at an altitude of 2,814 meters. The summit of the mountain is located on the Toyama Prefecture side. Most people choose to sleep on the mountain overnight, but it is possible to complete this hike in one day.
